Every decision made, and shown before you buy.

A new home, finished and ready, on a street you already love.

New construction on infill lots in established DFW neighborhoods. Curated down to the last fixture.

A finished Curated home, shown in full

Same great street, a brand-new home.

The streets people actually want, established, close to everything, almost never have new construction homes. We watch for the rare lot that opens up on them, sometimes with a tired house on it, sometimes already clear, and build a new home worthy of the address.

Who is behind this

A new line from an established builder.

Curated is built by Cambridge Homes, a DFW builder, applied to a different kind of home: higher-end, one lot at a time, in neighborhoods that were finished decades ago. Same builder discipline, quieter address.

  • Proven experience building distinctive homes in established neighborhoods
  • Upfront visibility into pricing, plans, finishes, and the completed design
  • The efficiency and discipline of an established DFW builder
  • Quality construction without the uncertainty of starting a custom build from scratch

Before we buy the lot

We have already thought about it.

Most of the work on a Curated home happens before there is a home. A street has to clear the same list every time, and a house only gets drawn once it does.

  1. A street that was worth living on before we got here

Schools, the commute, what is close enough to walk to, what forty-year-old trees do to a block. The address has to earn its place before anything else happens.

  2. A price the neighborhood already supports

What the houses around it have actually sold for, and what they will carry. It has to be a sound purchase the day you buy and the day you sell.

  3. Rooms that land where you need them

Only then is a house drawn, for this lot and the family likely to want it. Where the back door lands, how it reaches the laundry, which room gets the afternoon.

  4. Nothing left for you to pick out

Every material and fixture chosen before the home is listed. What you walk into is the finished decision, not the start of six months of them.

And it carries through to what you cannot see.

The systems behind the walls are chosen the same way as the street: for the bill at the end of the month, and the shower that does not run cold.

Hot water that does not run out
Tankless water heater

Hot water on demand. Nobody has to be last in the shower.

A summer bill that stays reasonable
2x6 exterior walls, 24" on Center

Deeper cavities, more insulation. Rooms that hold their temperature.

Outdoor entertainment at it's finest.
Outdoor Kitchens

Gas, power and drainage planned in from the start, cook where everyone already is.

Sound stays in the room it started in
Rock-Wool Insulation

The house feels calm, even when it's not.

Roofline stays straight.
5/8 Roof Decking

Heavier sheathing that can't bow between rafters. The roofline stays straight.

More than enough garage space
22' X 22' Garages, Minimum.

Room to open the car door with your hands full, and still fit that bikes.

Know a property with potential? We would love to see it.

Our current homes came to us through Dallas Realtors who knew what we look for. If you own a home you are considering selling for redevelopment, or you represent an off-market opportunity, a teardown, or an open lot on a great street, send it our way.

  • Homes ready for a next chapter
  • Off-market and quiet listings
  • Open lots in established neighborhoods

We look at every submission and reply either way, usually within two business days.
